George Curtis

Curtis is without doubt one of the greatest ever players to have played for Coventry City. He made his debut in the year 1956 and went on to spend fourteen years playing for the club between 1956 and 1970. He made 486 league appearances for the club, only being beaten by Steve Ogrizovic within regards of appearances made. He helped the club gain promotion in to the top flight at the end of the 1966 – 1967 league season.
