Keith Houchen

Houchen will be well remembered in football for scoring some most astonishing crucial goals. He made a name for himself in the 1980’s in the FA Cup. He firstly scored the winning goal as York City defeated Arsenal in a shock FA cup match that York city won, despite Arsenal being clear favourites. Two years later, he repeated his heroics in the FA cup final as he scored a brilliant diving header against Tottenham to help Coventry defeat Spurs 3-2 in the final.

Steve Ogrizovic

Ogrizovic started his playing career in goal for Shrewsbury Town between 1982 and 1984 before moving on to become goal keeper for Coventry City and went on to  break the record for most appearances made for the club as he was in goal a staggering 601 times. He helped City win the 1987 FA cup final with Coventry City and played for the club while they were in the top flight a total of 16 years between 1984 and 2000.

David Speedie

Speedie is a former Scottish football international who played for a host of clubs including, Barnsley, Darlington, Chelsea, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, West Brom and Leicester City. He is most notable for playing at Coventry City between 1987 and 1991, making nearly 150 appearances for Coventry city and scored over 40 goals for the club. He made ten international appearances for the Scotland football team.
