Micky Adams

Adams started off his football playing career at Gillingham before moving on to play for Coventry City. He was outstanding in his left back position while playing for the club and later on enjoyed spells playing for Leeds United and Southampton. He is now a successful football club manager, having managed, Fulham, Swansea City, Brentford, Brighton, Leicester City and is currently in charge at Coventry City.

Micky Quinn

Quinn spent the majority of his career playing as a striker. During his time in English football, he made a name for himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the English league. He began his career playing for Wigan between 1979 and 1981, he later on had short spells playing for Stockport and Oldham prior his move to Portsmouth. At Portsmouth he was in prolific form up front, scoring a staggering 54 goals in only 121 appearances. In the summer of 1989, he moved to Newcastle United for £650,000 and that proved to be money well spent. During his three year spell at the club, he averaged over one goal in every two matches, scoring 59 goals in 115 appearances. He later on had spells playing for Coventry and Plymouth Argyle. He has scored over 225 career league goals.
